I’m in the final year of my medical studies and I am still debating, where this career is taking me. Orthopedic surgeon, general practitioner, gynecologist, emergency physician - the options are virtually endless. To find out, I have organized a 6-month medical internship at two remote hospitals in Switzerland. I feel naturally drawn to the extremes of the alps and I am curious to find out, how this change in environment will shape my future. However, this project can’t come to live with you: Switzerland is a rather expensive country and as a full time student, I wont have the opportunity to fund my internship by working a side job.
